It is official, in two years I will turn the big 3-0! I am trying to convince myself to look at it from a “fine wine” perspective. Guess I will have to fake it til I make it. Am I the only one having a slight panic attack about this?

On a lighter note, I was happy to spend my twenty-eighth birthday in San Francisco. I love walking  around the city and taking pictures. I finally had the chance to visit  Miette pastry shop, and stopped by Bi-Rite Market for a few groceries. It was pouring rain which I loved but it would stop every time we needed it to. It was perfect! That city takes my breath away every time.

Where do you go when you want to take a quick little trip? Most importantly, what do you wear? I am the worst at over packing. What is in your getaway bag?

Happy New Years Eve! Have fun and stay safe.

Over time, I have noticed that many women are uncomfortable with saying they are sexy or beautiful. Even if they think they are, when it comes to verbalizing it, they act as if its taboo to feel such a way.

Honestly, I believe this originates from females being judgmental of one another (which nine times out of 10, stems from our personal insecurities). I have observed women that are utterly appalled by a woman who proudly and confidently exudes her sexiness. Why do they act as if a woman who is comfortable with her body and sexuality is either fast, a whore, conceited, stuck up or some other god forsaken derogatory statement?

Being a woman myself, I take pride in being, feeling, and embodying all of my beauty and sexiness. I feel blessed to have never felt ugly or ashamed of my size or myself. Of course, I have my moments, but who hasn’t?

Many women, big or small, have problems saying they are beautiful or sexy. I remember watching Oprah interview Kim Kardashian. Oprah asked, “do you think you are beautiful”? I do not recall Kim’s exact answer, but I know it was not yes! It blew me away. I thought to myself “Does she honestly believe she is not beautiful?” Or was that out of fear of being scrutinized for having the audacity to think or further more, say out loud that she is beautiful?

Attention: ALL WOMEN, GIRLS, MEN, and THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE, we are All BEAUTIFUL!! There is nothing wrong with believing in that and SAYING it out loud with pride! SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOP. We should empower and embrace one another and our differences!
Thinking you are greater because of your appearance or social status is what truly makes a person “UGLY.”

SUNDAY ROUTINE

DSC_0618

The first sign of morning, he feels me reaching for my phone and automatically wraps his arms around to pull me closer (he wants me off the phone). After a little morning cuddling ;), we take showers, which may or may not be taken together. We shout out a few “should I wear this with this?”, “Honey, have you seen my earrings?”, ”Where’s my jacket?”, and sometimes a “are you really going to wear that?”

His music is blasting from the office (most likely, it’s some sort of rap/hip hop or R&B). I play my music in the bathroom (usually 90’s R&B and pop) but as of late, OBVI its Beyoncé’s new album. I’m obsessed! I can’t get enough! I want to emulate her every move in those videos. I’ll make it my work out session; kill two birds with one stone. Get healthier, AND learn some new sexy moves for my man. Sounds like a win-win to me (it’s always good to switch things up, ladies). Finally, we choose our scents and accessories and we are on our way. A typical Sunday will go a little something like this… breakfast, a stroll through the flea market, and maybe a trip to Target or the mall. We end the day with dinner and a movie, and there ya’ have it, our Sunday routine.

A little late for a 4th of July outfit but I want to get all of my summer looks posted, before fall is here. My hair is a little grown out but here it is! I have wanted to go blonde for a while now. Am I crazy? What do you think?

Do you ever get tired of wearing heels? Apparently, I was having one of those days, 4th of July was blistering, the last thing I wanted to do was walk in heels all day. When I’m not feeling heels, I often opt for a crispy-white pair of tennies, maybe chic flats or a dainty pair of sandals. They’re comfortable, effortless and go with just about anything, without sacrificing style.

How was your weekend? Did any of you get something from the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collaboration? If so, do you love it?? I did and do, keep an eye out for my haul.

Xoxo

Wouldn’t it be interesting to be a sex therapist? I definitely inherited my mommas “nosey” gene, the more in depth, explicit details, the better! My mom would say, “its being curious”! Whatever, I call it nosey…

I love to hear about day to day life, careers and yes, even sex! You can say I’m known for turning mundane conversation into something…lets just say, “a little less mundane” 😉 Oh, and we can’t forget to dish about the threads, I want to know what you were wearing and where you wore it to.

So, what’s new ladies? Let’s dish, like we do on our morning talks with the girls. You know we all have at least one person we dish the latest to, now you can add Rococo Le Monde to that list. Come and let it all out, the good, the bad, and the beautiful (we’re too pretty to associate with ugly)! Let the love/life/fashion/dirty talks commence.

Here are a few looks from 2013 of my long gone, long hair. I’ll post photos of my short hair soon!
