Don’t feel like leaving the house for Valentines day? Here is my how to guide to spending the night (or day) in with your special someone for Valentines day.
-Pick out the girliest dress in your closet
-Grab your sexiest lingerie
-Pull out a pair of sheer pantyhose
-Slip your fresh pedicured feet in your favorite heels
-Have a lot of candy, cakes, and candles
-Bring out the candle holders and candy dishes
-Your preferred choice of beverage
-Pandora’s 90’s R&B station
-Enjoy the company of your special someone
-Maybe an impromptu photo shoot
-Have fun (try not to take yourself or others too seriously)
If you don’t have these things on hand, head to the store to pick up a few things, or be creative and make do with what you have. Everything I am wearing are items that have been in my closet. I picked up a few bags of candy, and Little Debbie Valentine cakes from the store. I baked a few cupcakes and asked my honey to pick up a few roses. Although, if this is Valentines day I will hope the prompting of flowers isn’t needed. But you never know, sometimes they need prompting.
Do you celebrate Valentines Day? If so, what are your plans?

Here are a few photos we took as the sun was rising, A.K.A “The Golden Hour” (the best time to take pictures). Wearing a sweater from H&M, ankle pants and nude wedges are Forever 21, and the sheer top is from Torrid.
I am a sucker for love, I love, love! Spring has sprung and summer is here. Love is in the air; flowers have bloomed and are fragrant as ever. I want to wear these denim-floral wedges with a white cotton-flare, “Marilyn Monroe” like dress for a summer trip to LA with my honey.
What if we play dress up and eat lunch outside on a patio in a charming little restaurant? Somewhere in Beverly Hills, wouldn’t that be cute? We’ll play the part for the day. I MIGHT throw in a big, floppy sun hat, depending on how dramatic I’m feeling that day! HeHe! I crack myself up!
I wear this candy satchel when I want to add a pop of color or corky-ness to my look, isn’t it funky?
These images were taken last summer and 20 lbs lighter (why waste good material?). My next post will be a combination of all the old photos I haven’t shared yet. After that, stay tuned for pictures of my new do (I cut off 12″) EEEKK!
Any plans for the 4th? What will you be wearing? Dish!
